Journey: Ink Wash - Inktober Day 5

JOURNEY
Don't need long legs to travel long distances or live a long life - just a long memory of hope.

Hi!

This is the fifth episode of the perspective series as well as the fifth day for the Inktober Challenge. The official Inktober prompt for the day is 'Long', so...😊😏

In this piece, I have used a simplified version of the inside of a typical train in India. The main focus, as I have been trying to get better at it, is to draw in perspective. Especially human figures.

Materials used are:
  • Fabriano Accademia 120gsm paper
  • Homemade India Ink - I wrote about it here: http://www.rumiandray.com/2017/01/diy-india-ink-permanent-waterproof.html
  • Round Brushes No. 3 and no. 0
  • Parker Quink black ink bottle for the ink wash
  • Brustro Technical pen 0.3 microns

I was feeling a little under the weather today and hope to get better tomorrow so that I can do more artwork quicker and with more finesse.

I do know that no one's really watching these videos but for you three people out there who are watching, thank you. xoxo

Thanks again for watching!
